锂离子电池氧化物电极材料离子动力学研究进展

摘要:
锂离子电池的倍率性能主要由电极材料的动力学性能决定,包括锂离子嵌入和脱出电极材料的离子动力学以及因此而引起的电子转移过程的动力学两个方面。本文对锂离子电池相关电极材料中离子动力学研究进展进行了综述。详细介绍锂离子在正极材料LiCoO_2,LiMn_2O_4以及LiFePO_4中的输运特性。LiCoO_2材料在离子和电子输运方面比LiMn_2O_4和LiFePO_4都具有一定优势。LiMn_2O_4材料在充放电的动力学过程中,常常伴随材料结构的不稳定性,因此,提高LiMn_2O_4材料离子动力学性能,必须同时考虑材料结构稳定性问题。而LiFePO_4材料的电子和离子输运动力学性能都比较差,因此需要改善材料的本征动力学性能。

The rate performance of lithium ion batteries is mainly determined by the dynamic properties of the electrode materials,which includes the ionic dynamics of insertion (extraction) of Li ions into (from) the electrodes and the corresponding dynamic process of electron transfer in the electrodes.Recent progresses in research on the ionic dynamics of related electrode materials for Li ion batteries are reviewed.The LiCoO_2 material has advantages in both electronic and ionic transport properties compared with LiMn_2O_4 and LiFePO_4 materials.Structural instability is a common problem of LiMn_2O_4 material during the charge/discharge dynamic process.Thus,to improve the ionic dynamic properties of LiMn_2O_4,the structural stability problems should be also considered.As both electronic and ionic transport properties of LiFePO_4 material are quite poor,improvement of the intrinsic dynamic properties is required.
